Mission

To advocate and facilitate Smart Growth and Sustainable Development in accordance with the Town’s Local Comprehensive Plan (LCP).

To sustain and stimulate economic opportunities that will preserve and enhance the quality of life within the Sandwich community.

Goals

  • Implement elements of the Local Comprehensive plan that affect land use and economic development.
  • Expand the Town’s property tax base.
  • Retain the Town’s current job base and create job opportunities.
  • Expand accessibility to local and regional infrastructure and services identified in the LCP.
  • Cooperate with surrounding towns in regional planning and economic development to benefit Sandwich and the greater community at large.

 Member  Jeff Picard  Self employed consultant specializing in Business Execution and Lean/Six Sigma, 37 years in Aerospace and Defense (15 years in executive management), Masters of Science in Engineering and MBA, Licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson, Appointed to the Sandwich Planning Board in 2017 and elected in 2018. Volunteer at the Cotuit Center for the Arts, Sandwich homeowner since 2012 and resident since 2015
 Associate Member  Daryl Crossman Rights of Way Manager for a major utility Company. Appointed Member of a number of Committees in the town of Sandwich; Community Preservation Committee, Visitors Service Board and Sandwich Bike and Pedestrian Committee. Resident of Sandwich since 1990.
